I grew up with wheels and stayed with wheels! My experience in the bike industry counts over 35 years and started with BMX racing. After my first German Championship title in 1991, I started to earn my first dollars as a Mountain Bike model, Bike Test Rider and stunt rider for bike shows. I rode professionally for nearly 10 years and traveled the world to some of the most amazing places as well as biggest bike events. I was supported by many brands during my professional career, but when Red Bull picked me up in 1998 shortly after I became the European member of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Freeride Team called “The Froriders” my life changed and I became a bit of star in the micro world of Mountain Biking. I enjoyed being on stage at events, signing autographs and shooting for the legendary Kranked movies until I had an accident in British Columbia in Summer 2002 which stopped my professional career.
I stayed in the sport though and started as a freelance journalist for the German Bike Magazine. At the same time, I got into organizing events in 2003. After my first very successful international event “Ride to the Lake”, I founded RASOULUTION in May 2005. I had three missions from the beginning: create innovative events for mountain bike athletes, support athletes with their management to take them to the next level and let the whole world know about what’s hot in the bike industry! So we started communicating our clients’ assets all around the world, whether it was their products, their athletes or their events. Today our biggest goal is to inspire people to buy bikes and ride them. So I strive to reach the mainstream with some of our bike related content.
I am the consultant for many brands, but also for RASOULUTION. I support our agency team, our clients, our athletes and media wherever they need me! I steer the mother ship and take us to the next adventure.
