Mercedes Benz Mountain Bike Experience at IAA 2021 – powered by RASOULUTION

The last week Munich hosted the largest and most important mobility trade show of the year, the IAA Mobility. This trade show brought together not only the most important car manufactures of the world, but also gave room to alternative transportation concepts and embraced the bike sector.

You could see the latest innovations of the bike industry all over the city and test them for free. To make this experience of riding mountain bikes even more real, Mercedes, together with RASOULUTION, had built a great test track for all levels of riders on the outdoor premises of Messe München.

To add a little thrill, this course had been spiced with some crazy features including wooden jumps, a drop battery, a flow line and even a section with dirt jumps.

Brands like Cannondale, Haibike, La Pierre and many more were around the course at Mercedes-Benz VanBase with their latest mountain models ready to be tested.

To bring even more mountain bike and action sports atmosphere to the visitors of the IAA, and to make it unique for them and get them really excited, the four professional athletes Simon Moratz, Joseph Forissier, Tobias Winter and Gordon Brown gave three awesome shows per day during the whole week of the IAA, performing at high level and showing their skills in front of massive group of spectators.

RASOULUTION runs FMB Silver Event at 4Bikes Festival

After a long break without many music festivals or slopestyle contests, we are finally back with another FMB Silver Event. Together with Peripherique we organized the first ever mountain bike event in Lützelbach, Germany – the 4Bikes Festival.

The idea came together when Peripherique, the local event agency decided to organize a festival that combines live music acts with exciting sport activities such as bike riding.

Peripherique saw a lot of potential in the old abandoned military base in the middle of the Odenwald forest and figured out that this was the perfect location for the event.

Since Peripherique mostly takes care of music festivals and does not really have a mountain bike background, we – as RASOULUTION where the ideal partner to organize an FMB Silver Event, which attracts the necessary attention that is required for a festival premiere.

The FMB Silver Dirtjump Contest ended up being the biggest attraction during the 4Bikes Festival and attracted the attention of many spectators, which was not least due to the outstanding performances of the athletes.

In Lützelbach, twenty young talented riders from six different nations came together to participate at the Silver Event, including young guns like Alberto Lopez (sender of the day) who we never saw on a contest before. Or Gemma Corbera from Barcelona, participating as the only women in this strong field.

After a hell of a show, these top three riders managed to climb the podium: Swiss slopestyle star Lucas Huppert (21) ended up in third place, Lukas Skiold (23) from Sweden jumping into second, while Miguel Guerrero (23), who we haven’t seen compete a lot lately, ended up winning the whole event with an incredible run.

The 2021 4Bikes Festival was a huge success, we managed to introduce many locals to our sport and leave an unforgettable impression with the crowd. We can’t wait for the next chapter, see you next Year 4Bikes Festival!
